The European competition won in September 2015, envisaged the “CREATION OF AN INNOVATIVE AUDIO-VISUAL PRODUCT USING REMOTE-CONTROLLED DEVICES”
with the town of Alghero as its subject.

GOALS
To produce an original, creative narrated text on the cultural and environmental heritage of Alghero.
To describe the splendid zone of Alghero – its history, sea and land. To describe the experiences to be enjoyed, and show the attractions and panoramas this land offers.

CONCEPT
BREATHING ALGHERO: Where Emotions Begin
A concept that calls up the emotion and desire to be absorbed in a territory so as to experience it to the core.

IDEA
The idea is to have spectators enjoy a preview of what they can experience on the territory, to convey the desire to visit these places so that
they will want to experience what is narratedfirst-hand. Different experiences, within the range of everyone, young and old, couples and families.
To provide a first-hand point of view of the experience, to give the user the feeling of blending in with the situation, so that he will feel he is a protagonist
of the video, seeing situations that he could experience himself.
People were the central focus of the production.
Used as a means to describe Alghero: creating a narrated text on the cultural and environmental heritage as though it were seen through their eyes.
In the video the protagonists interact with the scenario they find themselves in, making dives, coming up to the surface after an immersion,
changing the focus as though the point of view were human and subjective.
The protagonists of the video are common people of different ages, sex and behaviour, shown in various contexts engaged in interacting with the scenario
in which they find themselves and having different experiences.
The video works on the emotions in order to create a suitable narration that comes from people and directly reaches them bringing a clear, simple message:
“Alghero is a magnificent place, where you can try new experiences and emotions, come and see for yourselves”.

The video was shown on june 28 – 2016 during the presentation of the summer season 2016 and posted on Facebook official tourism page of Alghero where it made 60,000 views in one day.
